Les Schwab Tire Center performed bad brake job and would stand behind their work Sacramento California

In October 2003 I had this comapny perform a complete 4 wheel brake job. They could not figure out how to get the car to brake proplery after their work the car is a 1996 Ford Explorer V-8 full time AWD. They actually worked on the car for 7 hours the first day.
We took the car home and the brakes were spongy and clicking. they repalced the pads the next day. Still had same problem. They wanted the car driven for a while. We drove it for 2 weeks and then took it back again for a 3rd time. This time they purchased pads form the Ford dealer, turned the rotors on the front end again and spent 6 hours on the car. still same problem.

Dec. 03 they redid the entire brake job again, all 4 wheels and turned the rotors for a 3rd time. They did figure out that they did not set the presures up right in the brake hydraulic system. They called the Ford Dealer and borrowed a tool to do this on this car, and they should have used the first time, but they did not have the knowledge to use the tool. They worked on our car until 9pm that night and got the car to work better. We were never statisfied but did use the car for a year and 28000 miles when we had a major brake failure.

The right rear brake was running with higher then normal hydraulic pressure and caused the caliper and pad to destroy itself and the rotor. Guess what another brake job and the remaining 3 wheel were perfecly normal.

Ford dealer looked at the car and said they did not set this up right when they first did the brake job.

Took the car back for them to inspect and were told excatly "your out of our 25000 mile warranty Tough"
