Linder's Furniture Mislead Consumers about Delivery Time. Ripoff! Knott, Cerritos, Torrance California

We purchased a bedroom set from Linder's Furniture that totalled over $3000 at the end of January 2005. The salesperson informed us that the furniture would be delivered by the first week of February, but no later than the week of February 14th 2005. We are now being told that they do not know when the furniture will be delivered, but probably by the end of February.

After further investigation, we found some 70 similar complaints made to the Better Business Bureau. Linder's states that their furniture is imported. However, we found that the furniture we purchased is made right here in Los Angeles, CA. If the salseperson was more honest about delivery times and production, I would have no reason to be upset.

Although, we probably would not have purchased the set. I plan on publishing these facts in our union news letter if the delivery date continues to be drawn out, possibly calling my credit card and the Better Business Bureau as well.
