Litton Loan Servicing Mortgage Rip Off Late Fees Pocketing Payments Houston Texas

Litton Loan Service purchased my mortgage from Ownit Mortgage Company as soon as I colsed on my $200,000 in May 2006. I made initial payment to Litton over the phone and a confirmation # was provided. Three weeks later I got a ring from the calldesk at Litton. My payment apparently bounced back because I provided 'an invalid account' - which happens to be the same account that I use daily elsewhere without problems. SO...I made another payment attempt which actually went thgouh, again over the phone, and received another confirmation #.

A month later my mortgage was sold to Specialized Loan Servicing - I was never told. I tried to make my next payment to Litton and the account that I created online was invalid. I then got a strange call from SLS was who informed me that payment was never made for June and that my loan was delinquent. I was urged to 'make payment today' to avoid any further action. I had no idea who SLS was so I called Litton who wasn't able to tell me the name of the company they sold my mortgage to...but said I should be receiveing a notice in the mail soon.

I received notice that my mortgage was delinquent by mail. I made payment to SLS in July for two months (June & July) although I already paid for June once to Litton.

So, what actually happened to my payment to Litton? Are they allowed to pocket my funds as simple as that?

I hold the companies that surround Litton: OWNIT MORTGAGE & SLS, responsible as well since are obviously conducting regualar business with Litton.

Count me in on the class action lawsuit. I was lied to, cheated and scammed out of hard earned dollars.
