Lowes Bright Effects Lightbulb Fire Hazard foley Alabama

Bright Effects Light bulbs all of a sudden burnt up.  Generating terrible smells.  Two bulbs burnt at the same time.  Need to check if the lamp housing and wiring are affected.  These light bulbs were in use for only 2 years.  Never had an incident until today, when two  bulbs burnt up at the same time for no reason.  I see others have the same posting, having the same problem as well.  If I had not been home, these could have burnt down my house.  Anyone aware of any remedies against manufacture or Lowes?
