Lucille Roberts Signed me up for a year membership, then closed the location 2 months later. Transferring my membership with in 25 miles of the original location. NOT convenient. And would NOT allow me to cancel my nyc, Nationwide

Do not sign up for Lucille Roberts, unless you want to be scammed.  I signed up at the 8th Avenue/40th Street location in NYC - for one year.  I chose Lucille Roberts b/c it was located directly across from my place of work.  They closed that location 2 months later and sent me to another location within 25 miles of my work place.   Obviously, this was no longer convenient, and therefore I was not going to use it.  I tried to cancel my membership.  But they would not allow me to cancel.  I had to pay for the year.   

Additionally, when you contact customer service, it is really just 2 or 3 people answering a phone line and will only give you one answer NO.  They would not allow me to speak to a manager, or let me know who the CEO /President is or the corporate address so that I might write a letter of complaint.  They told me there was no other channel of recourse, and that either I pay or face being sued for what I would owe.
