Lucille Roberts Ripoff Tried to cancel because moved out of state and said info sent not good enought to cancel billed me for entire year. Wasn't even in the state New York New York

In December 2001 I moved to Florida. There are no Lucille Roberts here so I tried to cancel my membership. They kept saying the information I sent wasn't sufficent enough to cancel my account. I resent what they asked for and didn't hear anything until 6 months later when I received a bill from a collection agency. I contacted the collection agency and sent them everything.

6 months after that I received another letter from the collection agency. I FAXED everything to them. In January of this year I received a bill from Lucille Roberts. They said because I failed to send in the proper information to cancel my account I had to pay that money. Since when isn't a lease, a utility bill and a copy of my Florida state license not sufficent enough?

They're ripping people off. They think that people will just say ah the hell with it and pay off their membership. I'm fighting any way I can find!
