I paid my membership in full for 2 years and after a year began to work for a company that provided a free gym. I contacted LVAC to cancel my contract and they said I did not have a good enough reason. They said they would non renew and set up my auto debit to non renew at the end of my contract and at that time I could call to cancel my contract. I have 2 extra months added to my contract because I referred friends to LVAC and they said after my two year contract was up and I called to cancel (which is a year from now) I would get a refund of $44.00 since I paid $22/month. But even without the refund I still cannot cancel my contract today. It seems as though they string you along until your contract is up then they are happy to refund you any money there after. But to cancel your contract early and you have paid your membership infull you may be able to get a refund but they keep telling your different stories inorder to keep you from cancelling. I just want to cancel my contract membership today not a year from now. If I am able to cancel now and get a refund that would be icing on the cake.

I too am a victim of such ridiculous policies and run arounds regarding LVAC's ridiculous policies and thankfully, I found a service that's really helping me negotiate with this company. You're never able to speak with any staff in higher positions regarding the matters. Their contracts lock you in and are not in the best interest of their club members.
I was very fortunate to be introduced to LegalShield's afforadable service! They are currently negotiating with this business through contract reviews, making phone calls on my behalf, and writing letters for me! I suggest you go to this website and check out the services before even thinking of battling LVAC. I did not think about getting a lawyer for such a trivial matter, but since they are already dedicated to servicing the members of LegalShield, it doesn't matter how small or big the situation may be.
