MACOMB COUNTY FRIEND OF THE COURT Absurd, illegal, corrupt Mt. Clemens Michigan

I've said it once, I'll say it again..............The Macomb County Friend of the Court is just flat out a joke.  But to make some sort of a claim about them being on the side of FATHERS is a ridiculous statement.   Macomb County and the State of Michigan in particular are known for being a women's state.  I empathize for what you are experiencing but don't think for a second that you are being discriminated for being a woman. 

As bad as the courts are, I find it hard to believe that they are able to take more than 50% of your NET income.  As for having to file a motion or whatever else, join the club, get in line, take a ticket, etc.  If you want them to recalculate your child support then, yes, you have to file a motion.  I find it a little hard to feel too sorry for you since you left the state as if you had NO IDEA there was any sort of issue.

Please take no offense, perhaps I'm not understanding the entire story.  But generally, they don't just put a warrant out there if you are paying something so it looks like you just ignored the problem and then years later, gee, a warrant.

As for an attorney, DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME.  That would be a complete waste of time.

I wrote the above report. A correction needs to be made. It is my EX-SPOUSE who has an income of over $60k, NOT my spouse. Although I have not seen HIS recent W-2 or check stubs,(the court has not required him to show me) his income was $70k + over 10 years ago, I had to provide my proof of income.

This court is all about FATHER'S RIGHTS and nothing about THE BEST INTEREST OF THE CHILDREN.
