meineke screwed over anderson South Carolina

I brought my Ford escape in for an oil change before Christmas 2013. The car shook really bad, so I ask them to inspect the brakes as well. Upon inspection, they told me everything was fine. 

After I left the shaking still continued. It has reached a point where the entire car vibrates with it.  

So I took my car in today 4/26/14 for an oil change, they then inform me that the vibrations I had been feeling all along were bc if the brake pads and rotors being worn. So now they are going to machine the rotors to as thin as they can be, and put new brake pads on. 

All of this was preventable and I maybe could have gotten a little more life from the rotors if they had actually drove the car and felt was I was talking about, but I guess I'm STUPID and just born with the wrong body parts.
