Meritline refusing to refund monies owed on item never received.
Timeline: I ordered a new set of PC Speakers on November 11th 2015. Order #3-0101-3873
Due to an error with Paypal, my ship-to address was incorrect.
Meritline Shipped the item to the old address (I no longer lived at that address)
The real estate agent listing the house returned the item to Ontrac. (Ontrac picked the item up)
Ontrac Contacted Meritline to "return" them the item (MERITLINE REFUSED TO TAKE THE ITEM BACK)
The item sat in the Ontrac warehouse for another 2 weeks, upon which Ontrack re-delivered to the same "bad" address. This time, the package was NOT returned, I have been unsuccessul in tracking it down (the house was vacant, it could be anywhere)
I filed a dispute with Paypal on 11/17/2015
Meritline "fought" the dispute claiming they delivered the item, even though I NEVER received it.
I followed up numerous times with Ontrac..
At this point Ontrac recommended that I have Meritline open a claim with them to retrieve the lost package from the wrong address. That this is MY ONLY COURSE OF ACTION.
I asked if I could file the claim, I was told only the shipper could.

Per Ontrac the item was “returned” to them in December.. They notified you of the return.. But for some reason Meritline “Cancelled” the pickup..
I HAVE NOT received this item.. The item was shipped to the wrong address.. A house which is / has been vacant / for sale since October.
Do you believe this ?? They are essentially refusing to file the claim, and want to only issue 1/2 my purchase price back?
