MI Homes M/I Homes false promises and cheap contractors Virginia Nationwide

This builder uses cheap contractors and cheap materials. These last until one year (until warranty expires) then u end up paying big amount to labor to fix. Never believe their words, just use ur own home inspector before u move in, believe me its well worth (and dont forget to keep that report for future use) When u point out issues reported by home inspector they simply say thats fine and not a problem but dont believe them, do a research online. For example : our home inspector pointed out leaking water from AC unit and they said that's common to get water in pan. If u belive them, like we did, u end up paying $1400 to repair ur ac, yes it's FOURTEEN HUNDRED !!. When we contact builder, they say we will reimburse you after review but you done repair by paying from your pocket then they simply says we are not reimbursing and forwards email from stupid and cheap contractor they use!! I submitted all paperwork and proof but still nothing. we screwed. U hear creaking sound or loud noise once in a day or 2 in ur home and if u complain they say house is settling (even after 3 years !?)... you don't hear that sound/noise continuously so when they visit home if they don't hear noise they say everything is fine, they don't even bother finding what's causing it....I am really concerned about the loud noise I hear in my closets.... we trusted them more than any builder but now it seems we made a mistake....disappointed
