Mountain loan centers sounded like a great deal compared to the other sub prime payday loan centers who cater to people in difficult circumstances. Their interest rate and payments are lower than most others. Just don't be late! Their interest becomes astronomical when you are late. They are however upfront about that.

The part I didn't think much about at the time was the due date. Their due date is every 14 days instead of every 15 days like most places. I'm paid every 15 days which means that each pay cycle my due date became 1 day further from my pay day. When you live paycheck to paycheck it is difficult to budget money to pay bills in advance. I made my first several payments on time, but soon found it impossible to pay ontime. Then I started paying about $500 interest plus late fee payments every 2 weeks. 

Needless to say I could no longer afford to pay them. My original loan was $2500. I paid them more than $1500 in interest payments before I could no longer afford it. They then sued me for almost $8000 and garnished my wages 25%. 5 months later, I'm almost finished paying them, but not before I've become several months late on my child support, and rent. There have been several times that I couldnt even buy food. They have made my and my families life h**l. In all, I will have paid them almost $9500 on a $2500 loan. They have litteraly made out like bandits!

My advise, AVOID them like the plague!
