I ordered a tablet and paid $379.00 which was charged from my bank the day I ordered. I was promised the tablet would be received in 5 days. The next day I was contacted and they tried to sell me a five year warranty, which I declined. The item didn't arrive within 5 days.

11 days after ordering and paying for this tablet I contacted them again and they assured me I would recieve the item in 5 business days. They said the orignal item had been misplaced and they were sending a display model that had been inside a glass case and not used. Since I was getting a display they would include a free 5 year warranty. They said they would ship the next business day.

7 days later and still no tablet. When I called and spoke to Newegg Customer Service they were very dismissive. I finally received the tablet 3 days later and there was no warranty at all included,  not even the one year warranty that comes standard with the tablet, much less a 5 year warranty. They never offered a discount or coupon on future purchases to try and get my business again, they told me they will give me a one year warranty. Wow, I get a display item three weeks late and they are going to give me the warranty everyone else gets for buying a new item? AND I had to chase them down to even get that.

I've never dealt with an internet purchse this bad. I cannot fathom why a business would be so utterly unconcerned about their service. I hope and pray they go out of business.

HUge losers never sent even a one year warranty much less the five year warranty I was promised. They sent me a used tablet after I paid for a new one. This company is the worst I've every dealt with.

Hello,

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. I’m truly sorry to hear that there was such a long delay for the shipment and for the level of service that you received.

From my understanding we do not practice in calling our customers to sell an extended warranty service or knowing send a different model then what was order. If possible, please email us your order number and any further details to wecare@newegg.com so we may look further into this.
