NewSub Magazine Services ripoff Stamford Connecticut

I received a solicitation from this company for free magazines in March of 2005. I was to be charged $1.00 per magazine and for processing, and the magazine for one year if I would enter their sweepstakes. I did so by sending back the required form. The magazines were to arrive within 4-10 weeks. To date (July 10, 2005) I have not received anything nor have I been charged the processing fee. I have written to Prize Entry Dept who was the name on the entry form as well as Media Horizons, NewSub Magazine SErvices to see what my status is.

I received a call from Prize Entry last month and have informed them of the sponsoring party for the subscriptions by letter. I also wrote to Media Horizons to try to find out my status also today. Naturally I have not heard from them yet. However since there are five other reports listed about this company I am doubting that I ever will. I am not out any money but I hate to see things like this that waste everyones time.

I hope that anyone who reads this will avoid the same mistake I made. I will now check this service BEFORE I take part in any more promotional sales. If there have been prior complaints it is probably best to avoid them at all costs!
