Someone called me last week claiming I was approved for a MasterCard through a company called NorthStar Financial. They told me I was approved for a secure 2000.00 credit limit and ask to take 199.90 out of my savings account to cover the secure limit.

They also promised me a free nokia phone and that after they got the money my card and free phone would be sent in four weeks. The only information I got was 2 names , a confirmation number, a website address which looks to exist as someone elses company and this phone number 1-866-517-3698. The two names they gave me was Tim Davis representive #22 and Courtney Thompson. I called this number back and only got a busy signal or no answer. I also informed my bank of the dealing.
