 A NOVA MERCHANT SERVICE LLC representative came to our office . In a version of not being rude and brass, I agreed to receiving a quote for merchant service for my new shop in Tampa. I was blindsided and caught off guard on a very busy day organizing the grand opening that he had me sign a form because that was the only way he was allowed to supply quote. After 2 weeks a received a terminal via UPS, along with a Statement from FIRST DATE 1-877-810-9315 that I had a Merchant Account opened. I called the NOVA MERCHANT SERVICES LLC aka Mike Ross from a phone number on the statement; and they were so nasty and completed were no help they hung up the phone on me and on my wife when she tried calling calmly to try to figure this out. We were dumb founded. We then called the Processor FIRST DATA, because we knew however this happened it wasn’t PCI compliant. When we called FIRST DATA after hearing our story they transferred us and we ended up with NOVA MERCHANT SERVICES, LLC again! It was unbelievable that this Scam exists and that everyone involved is allowing it to happen. After much more research we found that there are numerous other small businesses that this has happened to; all over the United States. We also found out that Ms. Raelin Morgan from North Carolina is listed as the owner of NOVA MERCHANT SERVICES, LLC in Olympia, Washington - Charlotte, North Carolina, Prescott –Arizona, Mesa Arizona, In Florida and also Conneticut. The registered Agent is a company called CT CORPORATION managed through Wolters Kluwer apparently that’s an investing, legal and tax service, this company is a professional designated Registered Agent that makes sure papers are handled correctly. ( whatever that means) all this mess just makes think of the movie “the wolf of wall street”. They are probably in the SCAM too! CT CORPORATION 1200 S.
