I have been living a 5 year nightmare with Ocwen. My loan was sold to Ocwen for servicing from HUD.
since Ocwen took over my servicing I have experienced numerous problems. That range from not cashing my checks on time, paying property taxes late, charging my escrow for insurance and returning of wires without reason.
Approximately two weeks ago they returned my mortgage payment twice. After the second return I contacted them and was told they can't accept it because they were starting the foreclosure proceedings on my home.
When this payment was returned I was one payment behind and this made no sense to me. There so called attorney stated that I was 3 months behind.
He gave me some run around about contractually due and the due date for my forebarence plan. Never during my whole conversation with him could he even begin to explain to me what he was talking about.
When I asked him what I could do to stop this, he informed me that I would have to come up with $2,500 by Sept. 30th.
Well Monday is dooms day! I'm still about $400 short and even if I can get my hands on it by Monday they are still going to jack my mortgage payment up by approximately $200 a month.
I'm all for joining the class action suit against Ocwen!
If I had know that buying my first home with an FHA loan was going to be such a nightmare I would have declared bankruptcy and saved myself and my spouse from alot of gray hair and stress.
I thought that FHA was there to stand by you and get you through tough times instead I find them asking you to sell your soul to the devil.

#2 Consumer Suggestion
Tell the Court to Take Judicial Notice of Hanson v. Ocwen 3:02CV960 Connecticut

I read your Consumer Complaint and its update with interest. Please be aware that there is a lawsuit filed in Hartford, Connecticut federal court and that in this lawsuit over FORTY sworn statements have been filed so far (with several more to be filed next week) all essentially saying under penalty of perjury the things about Ocwen and Moss, Codilis that many people have stated at this website.
I had held my silence for a while because this matter is being litigated, but I am sick and tired of Ocwen's baloney and so this is my advice to everyone who is in any form, shape or manner being harrased, threatened with foreclosure or collection by Ocwen: TELL THE BANKRUPTCY OR FORECLOSURE COURT TO TAKE JUDICIAL NOTICE OF THE LAWSUIT HANSON V. OCWEN 3:02CV960 IN HARTFORD, CONNECTICUT FEDERAL COURT. ALL THE AFFIDAVITS ON RECORD IN THE CASE, AS WELL AS MANY MORE TO BE FILED, ARE MATTERS OF PUBLIC RECORD WHICH YOU CAN ORDER FROM THE FEDERAL COURTHOUSE AND USE AS EVIDENCE IN YOUR OWN CASE. No Judge with a conscience is going to look at all these sworn stories (plus more stuff in my lawyer's safekeeping to be filed in October by my lawyers in my case) and say that Ocwen is always correct.

I wanted to give all an update on my situtation. I just posted my report yesterday stating that Ocwen wanted $2500 by Sept 30th or they would continue with the foreclosure proceedings on my home.
To my amazement I received a letter in the mail today from a second attorney demanding payment in full and fail to do so would result in the sale of my property within thirty days from the date on the notice.
Since I received this, does it mean the original offer dosen't stand?
