Ocwen ripoff fraudulent check cashing unfair debt collection practices West Palm Beach Florida

Ocwen Bank bought off a charged off credit card debt of mine from 2004. when i called them in an attempt to do the right thing and get my account taken care of, several things went wrong.

1. collectors violated FDCPA regulations by threatening the use of a law suit against me
2. collectors badgered me into setting up payment arrangements that i wasn't comfortable i'd be able to keep.

I called Ocwen back before my first payment arrangement was scheduled to go through, and asked them to cancel all payments because i can't afford them.
Then i received a letter in the mail with the intent to deposit a payment for $277.19. i called back stating all payment arrangements should have been cancelled and the operator told me they would make sure it was done.
on the 3rd of this month Ocwen ignored my request and took the $277.19 anyway.
