Ocwen I am currently unemployed I contacted Ocwen for a loan modification based on the information supplied on their web site. I received a phone call from an Ocwen representative who placed me continuously west palm beach, Florida

I contacted Ocwen Loan for a modification on my current mortgage. I am currently receiving unemployment benefits. I read on their website that the HAMP program can assist my with situation. I sent in to Ocwen the requested documents along with a modification application. They contacted me to set up a phone appointment, approximately a week later, the representative who called me was totally unprepared for this conversation. She placed me on hold for majority of the phone call while she reviewed the application, this was after initially telling me I was denied the modification. I explained  that I was presently unemployed and according to their web site I could qualify for a modification, she didn't realize I was unemployed, placed me on hold again, came back again and told me based on this not being my primary residence i again did not qualify for a modification and I would be receiving a letter to this effect. I explained that according to their web site this was not the case, again she placed me on hold came back some time later, stated she saw where I was receiving unemployment and self employment income, I explained that no where on my application does it state that I am self employed, again I was placed on hold, when she came back on the telephone she repeated what she originally stated. This representative was totally unqualified and unprepared to discuss any type of modification or solution to my problem, she fumbled from the beginning until the end of the conversation, I believe that because Ocwen is required to contact the customer in regards to HAMP applications is the only reason I received a call back, but it was a total waste of my time since the representative had no idea of what she was discussing. I think this is again typical of the service Ocwen supplies while trying to take possession of your home for non-payment.
