OMNI Financial OMNI Military Loans Warning, stay away from these folks! New Rochelle, New York

I highly recommend that you DO NOT utilize this company! Against better judgement, I applied for a loan and was told that I was approved. Thinking better of my decision, I decided to cancel the loan. I was informed following my request to cancel that my loan was denied, this after being notified that I was approved. Furthermore, attempts to reach the company were wrought with issues (for example, I was never able to contact my "loan officer", only customer service). When my loan was approved, no details as to interest rate, etc. were provided and attempts to determine the rate were unsuccessful.

The intent of this company is to simply get the customer (military) to apply an allotment towards a high interest loan from what I have garnished on the web. It is noteworthy that the application process requires the consumer to send a snapshot of the allotment being created at the DFAS website.

If you need money, there are better resources available and it would seem that Omni (I believe they are associated with Pioneer Military Loans) is a predatory lender...
