Not the Same at all

Not sure what you are talking about, sound like you have the computer savvy of a rock. To quickly solve this why don't you type findacomputerguy.com into a browser, you know that blank space on top of your screen, and see what happens. OnForce is no where to be found.
Not sure why you ever posted this or why it hasn't been taken down. No one agrees with you and it is the easiest thing in the world to prove, (for most of us anyhow.)

Onforce.com is a solid, reputable business

I have had no dealings with the "findacomputerguy" folks; but I have been an Onforce.com service provider since the Computerrepair.com days (roughly September 2004).
They are not the same. And while I feel the frustration of many who have been swindled by someone online, it is not right to exaggerate (i.e., lie) to make a point. Not all Onforce technical support is the same--there are over 10,000 provider--but you are not required to pay until you are satisfied that the work is complete--and you can rate the provider on several areas of support.
Perhaps whose who need computer repairs and are afraid of national service providers would do well to look for a local provider--like myself who--can provide credible local references instead of simply looking for the cheapest "geek", "nerd", "wizard", or other weirdo name they find online... Some professionals who charge a higher hourly rate are much cheaper in the long run because 1. We know what we are doing, 2. We have done this type of work before, and 3. We want you to say nice things about us to your friends. Especially number 1.
I sincerely hope that the complaints posted here result in greater wisdom and better service for all who read them. May the Lord richly bless you all.

currently http://findacomputerguy.com/ is a parked site on godaddy.com
findacomputerguy.com has used OnForce to try and deliver its services and has had problems.
OnForce is a middleman service that charges the client a fee and the tech a fee.
Most likely what happened is findacomputerguy.com parked his site and redirected it to OnForce. Redirecting the site is like putting up a sign that says "closed, if you need help try here".
They are not the same company.
I am an independent contract that uses OnForce both as a client and as a tech.

FACG(Linn Boyd) has had his DNS changed to point to Onforce(why I dont know).
Why do you have an issue with either company?Where is the Ripoff?

If its not the same, why does findacomputerguy point to onforce.com if you look at the way the website is setup its the EXACT same setup offering to find "local providers" with fake resumes setup... its a scam, contact addresses can be easily faked

Onforce and findacomputerguy are definitely not the same. Onforce is based in New York City, Linn Boyd (findacomputerguy) is/was based somewhere in Texas (I think it was Houston). Linn is a shady "businessman" that likes to Ripoff his contractors. Onforce is a legitimate company that has over 10,000 registered providers and a 100% satisfaction guarantee.
Also, if you do a whois lookup on both domain names, you will see facg has vague information and definitley NO contact info. Onforce has all their contact info (name and address) listed.
Signed,
Onforce provider #13030
