I joined OnForce about a year after my husband did. I had been on their platform for 7 or 8 months when we convinced a friend to join. He lived in St. George, Utah. The only thing was, was that our friend didn't have a cell phone yet. So my husband told our friend when you apply at OnForce use his (my husbands') cell phone number, and if there was a message for him (our friend) he would get it to him. This was just until he was able to get on his feet, and get his own cell phone.

Our friend was on the platform for about 3 months, he had gotten a work order, and on the day he was scheduled to be at the job of that work order, he said, there was no way he could make it because of another job. So he called the provider or EU, and postponed it for the following day (the provider said it was ok).

Well, thats all it took. When, Scott Epple your everyday Joe Blow who thinks he's GOD to all technicians, got wind of a tech re-scheduling without their (OnForce's) consent. God forbid.....get it.....God=Scott Epple, forbid. Anyways, back to what I was saying. Since it was my husbands phone number that our friend was using, they called my husband and told him that he was permanently suspended from OnForce for having a bad record. My husband did not have a bad record. I have never heard of a tech at OnForce getting a chance to have a bad record. And then I get an e-mail stating that I was permanently suspended also, because, I like this one, "I associate with a suspended technician" (told to me by Scott Epple).

Here's what really blows me away, remember our friend? The guy that couldn't show up at his own job, the guy that postponed that job, the guy that lived in another state. He only gets suspended for a week, at first it was 2 weeks but then they decided only 1 week. What I don't understand is why we got the shaft for another techs screw up. Hey, don't get me wrong, he is still our friend.

I don't ever remember reading in OnForce's rules that we were not allowed to associate with suspended techs or let another tech use your cell phone number because, if that other tech screws up, the one that owns the cell phone feels the "Epple" effect.

My husband and I both tried to appeal it, but they wouldn't allow us to, because Scott said, "NO". Appealing at OnF*** is a farce. You can only appeal if they allow you to appeal. So, we were never "allowed" to appeal it.

I dont know to much about the law, especially when it comes to Contractors and Sub-Contractors, but isn't that something like discrimination for suspending me indefinently because of who I associate with ?

You acted on your friends behalf.

The mistake you made was acting as a middle man on behalf of your friend because he didn't have a phone, so you let him use your husband phone to pass messages back and forth. You made his problems your problems.

If your friend did not have the required tools necessary to do Onforce, then he needed to fix that problem on his own. Not rely on your husbands phone or you as a midde man.

Your friend should have joined Onforce on his own accord. You should have stayed out of it unless he was working as one of your techs, in which you're responsible for his actions anyway.

Was it fair you got suspended? Maybe, maybe not, you did not show a copy of the Email sent to you by Onforce.

But when you act on someone behalf and act like a middle man, make sure they understand and follow the rules or else you could be held responsible.
