OnTel Products ripoff Fairfield New Jersey

I ordered their Shedender product in January 2006. I waited 2 and a half months for it to arrive (est time of delivery from Ontel was 4-6 weeks), and finally got frustrated and tried calling them. I had to go through about 5 people to get to somebody that was allegedly the proper person to speak to about this, but that person hung up on me.

I decided to file a complaint with my credit card company to get credited back for it. A week or so after I did that, I recieved the product. I called my CC company back to hold the case. No longer wanting it, I called Ontel but nobody picked up (it was during their business hours). I sent it back with a letter of disappointment and a request for a full refund including shipping charges. Wisely I sent this out with a tracking number and delivery/signature confirmation.

The company recieved the product, but did not give me a refund for 2 months. I called up my CC company again and told them about this. They credited me back with the full $52 (half of that was ridiculous shipping charges!) Now I warn everybody about this company.
