Pacific Monarch promised two free tickets to Disneyland and one night at an Anaheim-area hotel if my wife and I attended a time share presentation, which we did. In order to collect the prize, we had to jump through a lot of hoops, which I expected. But here's the last straw: To get the Disneyland tickets, we must first check into the hotel (10 miles from Disneyland). Check in time is after 3:00pm. Once we check in, we will be given the Disneyland tickets. Disneyland closes at 8:00pm on the days that we are allowed to go. So we will arrive at Disneyland between 4:00pm and 5:00pm, and must leave at 8:00pm. Yes, Pacific Monarch will give us the free tickets they promised, but it's pointless to go to Disneyland for only three or four hours. I'm convinced Pacific Monarch does this so that no one can/will collect the prize. We're certainly not going to waste any more time with this, but we will make sure everyone we know hears about how deceptive Pacific Monarch is.

This is usually what timeshare companies do. You did get the hotel for free though right? A lot of the time the companies will actually offer upgrades on your prize...for a price of course, but you have to understand. You got a free stay at a hotel, regardless of whether you think it was going to Disneyland for a few hours..And all you had to do was sit through some sales pitches.
