I have been doing a small amount of research on the internet and have came across some reports of people experiencing the same problem i am. I recently came across a collection on my Experian account for $32, i know its not near the amount of some others but it has been in collections with Palisades for over 2 years. (in some cases ive seen people owe over $400 to this company for unknown ATT accounts) It also shows up as OSI Portfolio with the same amount and same account # as Palisades.

I recently called Palisade and the person i spoke with told me that OSI and Palisades are both the same company and that this is a debt i owe to ATT long distance. I refused to pay and told him that i want more info on the account, he refused to provide the info and informed me that "i would pay on the account one way or another" For one, I never had an ATT account for anything,

#2, its my mothers address they are reporting the collection is for and i have not lived their for over 5 years, i spoke with her, we spoke to ATT, they have nothing. Last but not least,

#3, its destructive to my credit and i refuse to pay something they cannot prove. I dont care if its 50 cents, the point is that this is fraud and needs to be addressed. If anyone has any further information as to what we could do to have this resolved and this company dismantled for ruining peoples credit reports and lives in some cases, please let me know. my email is (removed by ripoff report - see below link)
