Parkwood Lending Luckily they did not get any of my money! Miami Florida

At the beginning of June, I received a call from Parkwood Lending Group saying I was approved for a 15k loan. They needed a "deposit" of $1,100, and that would take care of 5 months of payments. I was skeptical, because I read on the internet it is illegal for any business to ask for a "deposit" on a loan and most leanders would just take it out of the loan. I called the BBB and they were not registered at that time, and so I called another government agency and the female I spoke with tried looking them up, she said, "ma'am this is a scam, please do not send them any money". I gave her all the information I had on them and she said they would investigate them. I called Parkwood Lending back and said I was not interested in the loan. Another, reason I was very skeptical of this loan is because, they only accept cashier's checks or money orders, red flag there! Anyway, Craig Stevenson, the creep who said I was approved for the loan called me back today June 13, saying that his "lender" had reduced my "deposit" to $600, I told him I wasn't interested, and I asked him a few questions, which most I got a "due to privacy issues" blah, blah, blah. Hopefully, for those of you who did send money, I hope you get it back. Good luck!
