I would like to file a complaint against Philips corp for Unhonored Guarantees or Warranty.
Unsatisfactory Service. I have dealt with this nightmare for 6 months now...we purchased a new dvd recorder from abc warehouse jan. 29th 2005...didn't use it til 3 weeks later and the product didn't work...paid $9.00 for shipping after many telephone conversations, they had our product for 2 months...returned a dvd recorder to use claiming they had repaired it, but the item was not our product, nor did it work, after more extensive phone conversation with them we found out that they lost our product and our only option was a buy back...less the tax we paid on the item, and less the shipping cost...plus a bunch of dvd + R's that we no longer had any use for...we wanted our dvd recorder back or a new one...but they would not give us that option...I cannot tell you how God awful I think there service/product and customer relations are...Can you please help us right this wrong?

Philips does NOT stand behind their products or their customers. In my book it is the worst product/customer service I have experienced...I would never again buy, nor recommend anyone to buy a philips product...If you do and you need to use the warranty...I guarantee...you will be very dis satisfied. Don't be disillusioned, I am trying to save others from going through the headaches I went through. Philips is a joke of a company that shouldn't even be in business. Their products are junk and there customer service and/or warranties are not worth your time and effort or the paper they are wriiten on.
