Planet Ford Planet Ford Spring Dishonest Service Department Internet

Back at the very end of June I had to have the entire steering column replaced on my 2008 Ford Escape  due to the electrical power steering failing. After a couple of estimate I decided to use Planet Ford in Spring to do the repair work. They completed the work in a very timley manner but after picking it up and driving away i became aware that the steering made a poping noise, To make a long store short they blamed it on another problem and then when i went to have my car inpected they would not pass it due to the fact it had lose steering the, the guy at the inpection place but his hand under th steering and said the whole thing was lose. I called the dealership and they were rude like how dare i call and say they didn't fix something correctly, I went in the following day to have it looked at. After sitting there for an hour someone finally comes in and talks to me and says that the work they performed was correct and the same excuse my tie rods needed to be replaced and he could have his front end guys take a look. At the same time he's trying to sell me brake job and new tires. First how do you know its the tie rods if you didn't even have your guys look at it. I may be a younger women but i'm not stupid. I told him no thanks and left.  Miracle behold the popping noise that the steering was making as i was driving into the dealership was now gone. Later that day i went and had new tires put on my car and i asked my tire guy if the tie rods needed to be replaced and he checked and said not at this time. I was fuming, these people lied to my face about the steering, i'm assuming they fixed the problem because it hasn't made that noise but its the principal that these people coould not own up to their mistake and apologize for doing a crappy job. I will never use them again and everyone i know will know what dishonest rude company planet ford is. They should be ashamed of themselves.
