First, how can anyone, in good consciance work for a company that has SO many complaints. WHY on earth would it behoove anyone to stick up for something like PPL so strongly? How can anyone with a shred of desency work for a company that is the root of SO MUCH CONTROVERSY?
I think that all of you PPL's need to be combative and protect your "company" cause you know that something is wrong with it and you are afraid that the right people will find out a way to close you down and steal YOUR meal ticket away from you, like YOU are stealing the money out of niave peoples pockets.
Noone should have to defend a legit company the way I see it being done here. If the company worked and was all that, then it would sell itself on reputation. You wouldn't need to promise some poor guy/gal, that are so desperate they would give their last buck, a pipe dream of makeing $5-$10-$30,000 a month if they just work hard. It may work like that for the choice few. But it's the poor slumps that don't make it or the people that aren't represented, that line the pockets of "those choice few".
I think it is discussting how these MLM's prey on the foolhearty. The people with very few options left, that are so desperate, they will swollow any c**k & bull story, for a mere glint of the rewards these faulse prophets present.
I am sure that there is money to be made. But who pays the checks? Surely not " those choice few" who have it or make it. It's the ones that couldn't afford to lose it that pay your ckecks, with dashed dreams and empty promises.
Again I ask... is this company really worth it if ALL of these people have ALL these gripes. Can ALL THESE PEOPLE BE WRONG? ALL AT THE SAME TIME?
Look into your self and you will see the truth and you will see that anything that you need to bicker about so childishly is not worth the air used to call it Bulls**t.

You mention all the complaints received by PPL yet they don't compare to the number of complaints I've seen having worked at Lowe's for a year. We get a multitude of complaits daily covering everything from not enough employees to racial and sexual harrasement towards customers. My store averages 35 complaints a day yet the one store does nearly 60 million dollars in business annually. Lowe's itself it a multi-billion dollar corporation. If you choose to open your eyes you'll discover that any major corporation receives it's a large number of complaints. It's part of the business. How many complaints do you think Wal-Mart gets? Even with their complaints and subsequent problems they employ tens of thousands across the country and have millions of customers.
Have you taken the time to research PPL? If not please look at the actual services offered then re-read the complaints, you may take a different view on things. I've found that most of the complaints revolve around people not using the service when they should or expecting PPL to do something that they never claimed to do. One in particular involved someone who had been ripped off by a business scam then tried to get PPL to help him out of it. For starters, he should have talked to PPL before getting involved in a business venture and had them look over any contracts before he signed them. There's a good chance that he could have prevented getting himself ripped off to begin with. When the deed was done he was in a situation where a contract signed by him put the law in favor of those who ripped him off. While PPL would have represented him in litigation at the contractual discount they rightfully recommended that he not fight it at this point since he would have lost. If you've ever watched court tv you'll know it's almost impossible to fight a contract.
In many of the complaints listed, the individual received the services they were guaranteed. They received their advice and free letters/phone calls and in several cases had their problem solved. But the majority were people who ignored their attorney's advice or didn't use PPL until their situation had evolved into full fledged problems and required litigation to resolve. At this point the free services just don't have much power and they didn't want to pay for the attorneys, even at the discount.
Simply put, I sell flooring. If you disregard the manufacturer's instructions and don't want to listen to what I have to say, then don't blame me when your flooring project fails. In the same manner, don't blame PPL when YOU choose to ignore their benifits when your issue is a situation instead of a problem.

Are you just posting on here to be seen by everyone else or do you have a legitimate complaint?
We are not defending our company because we don't want people to know the truth. We are defending our company because everyone on this website complains about service they received from an Associate or Lawyer who obviously did not care about doing moral or ethical things. Show me one instance that Pre-Paid Legal itself said or did something that was wrong or unethical. We have millions of members who have PPL service. (MILLIONS) There are maybe 100 complaints on this site and across the web. Some local companies with 5 employees have more complaints than that.
The service is valuable if you see a value in it. We don't promise you a life of wealth and happiness if you join PPL.
Lets follow societies plan in this situation. OH NO, a few bad people misrepresented a company. We're going to have to sue them and shut them down or change the constitution so it doesn't happen again. And while were at it let's ban everything about GOD from it as well.
