Protect Your Home used False Representation and down right lied about services.  We thought, because we live in a rural area that ADT corporate didn't cover us and only Protect Your Home as an authorized ADT dealer were it.  Searching on the Internet, they were the only ones that came up using local search.

After Michael Wexler, a sales supervisor at Protect Your Home gave us his best deal, he pressured us to give him $99 to secure our deal.  I asked what if we decide to cancel before installation and he stated that we could easily request a refund and that the refund would happen within hours of the request.

They (Protect Your Home) claimed to be ADT and that their agents and techs were all ADT, but they are only an authorized ADT dealer and even ADT does't use their equipment because they cannot support or warranty it (told to me by a 26 year ADT vet).

Protect Your Home said that they used only ADT equipment, that it is warranteed for life by ADT and that their techs are ADT employees with ADT badges.  LIES!!!!  Their techs are anyone they can hire with no background checks.  A documented example from a former customer, one guy had his house ripped off after a Protect Your Home tech setup their new alarm but didn't hook it into monitoring and had his buddies rob the place the next day.

ADT does not give life-time warranties like Protect Your Home stated.

We ended up paying them $106.80 to keep our deal and initiate an install, but stopped it after learning more about them from other peoples experiences with them.  I called to stop the process and asked for Michael Wexler, but got Eric Huebner, supposed sales mgr on 8-29-14 @ 9:35am.  I reqested to cancel the scheduled installation and receive a refund.  I asked how long will it take for him to process the refund and he said that he just processed it.  That we should have our monies as soon as the bank accepts the credit.

A week goes by, no credit shown pending on our bank statement, so we called our bank and they said there is no pending credit from Protect Your Home.  On 9-4-14, I called Protect Your Home and spoke to Customer Service, they said that our account shows no credit pending.  Eric Huebner directly lied to me when he said he processed the credit and that we were all set.  I am still waiting to verify whether or not we get our monies back, but from what I've read, we probably won't get them.

STAY AWAY from them.  They are liers and theives.
