Quest Diagnostics Double billing Cincinnati Ohio

 Had lab work done at Quest in January of 2015, received explanation of benefits from insurance company in March of 2015 that they had paid and my share was $17.18. Quest continued to send bill showing I owed $166 called Quest and was told they had never received anything from my insurance company and asked I send them a copy of my explanation of benefits which I did another month goes by and another $166 bill comes. Called Quest again and said they never received the copy I sent. Called my insurance company who then called Quest who confirmed that I only owed $17.18 and Quest then sent me a bill showing I owed the $17.18 that I paid June 1st 2015 and the cashed June 10th 2015. Then on July 1st 2015 they deducted another $17.18 from our debit card. We called Quest again and they say they never received our check and so they deducted from our dedicated card. Even though the our bank has proof thy cashed the check and copy of our statement they insist they never received the money. Had to file a unauthorized transaction on our dedicated card to get the money back. Seems Quest has some real problems in their accounting department as this is not the 1st time we have had billing problems with them.
