QX Telecom Or WQ Long Distance ripoff consumer fraud ripoff Nationwide

Mine is a similar story as the others. They can't tell me how we signed up for their service, but they stole $59.78 from our account. I called when I got our statement (1/25/03) and they said they'd return it. I asked how they got it and they said we signed up for it on the Internet. I'd already checked with my husband and he said no. When it wasn't on last month's statement, I called again and they said they'd changed charge companies.

When I still didn't get it this statement, I called yesterday. Was told they were suing their charge company and this time when I asked how they got it, they said they'd telemarketed -- no way do we do that! Then, I spoke with the customer service manager (John at extension 1173) and he yelled at me, told me about the suit and then said if I didn't calm down at the count of three he was going to hang up on me.

Like I'm a little kid (I'm 48 years old!), he started counting. I'm sitting there saying "You're the customer service manager and you're counting down to three before you hang up on me?" Then he did. I've tried to find this company on line to no avail, but was somewhat comforted to find others with the same problem. Think a lawyer of our own is in order, don't you?
