Went into store to pay Radio Shack acct in full (months ago). Amt was $400+ dollars. Clerk was $10 off (exactly) in telling me what the balance was. After speaking with a Radio Shack representative on the phone, I thought the late fees were removed and the situation was resolved. I take care of my disabled elderly mother, so times are very difficult. Month after month I tried to get the situation resolved, only to be put on hold and nobody helped. Today I was finally able to resolve the situation with CSU Kelly. She removed the outrageous late fees and was very caring. This Lupe I spoke to (who of course refused to give her last name, even though she insisted I give my full name and was badgering me and insisting I give my middle name also, should be fired!Radio Shack needs to educate their employees. Give them better customer service training and certainly sensitivity courses! My own health has suffered over these months just trying to resolve this situation. This should not happen! On top of everything, my credit score has dropped significantly due to this Radio Shack fiasco. Will never use their credit card or step foot in their store again.

Radio Shack credit card accounts are held by Citibank. Radio Shack associates can take payments for those accounts. The only information they can access for you is the card number and current open to buy. Radio Shack associates have never been able to see your current balance. Any balance information needs to come from your statement or you need to call Citibank directly.

So if you made a $400 payment, you obviously met the minimum payment requirements for that statement period. The next statement should have just been for the $10 and some interest. Why didn't you pay the remaining $10 you owed? Why did you let that $10 statement go to a late fee? This seems more your fault than Radio Shack's.

It took you "month after month" to get this resolved? Thats funny, because for everyone else it just takes a 5 minute call to the number on their credit card statement. The Citibank reps are always great about waiving one late fee if you make the minimum payment that was required. Oh let me guess, instead of calling the bank holding your credit card account, you kept calling the store to yell at a part time sales associate that had no idea what you were talking about.

(Caution: Sarcasm ahead)

Sorry to hear this tramatic situation has caused directly cause your health to suffer and single handedly ruined your credit. I hope you find the strength inside to fight on, regain your health, and get back out there to use those credit cards again! Show us villians at Radio Shack we can't keep you down!
