This was suppose to be a free trial service to protect you from credit card fraud and identity theft.

I was billed for an account that was canceled back in July. I contact the company and all they did was canceled my account again. And when I ask for my refund they had no number to give me to be reimburse.

The free trial was for the product Web detective Pro and privacy chest. Please don't get rip off make sure you are dealing with a reputable company.

Please refer to my earlier blogs in August '08 signed by "The Old Captain"
I sent complaints to everyone I could possibly think of but the one that got results was by contacting the Better Business Bureau in Calgary, Canada, phone 780-482-2341 or contact Ms. Kristal Levy at calgary.kl@bureaydata.com. You may refer to my case #1152237 August '08. There is also an Class Action being prepared via Lakin Law Firm, www.lakinlaw.com.
Bottom line....I got 100% (less the trial amount) refunded in 2 days through the BBB in Calgary. Please feel free to shoot me an email if I have been of any help to anyone. Most folk will just cut their losses and move on...don't be foolish...this is a scam from the getgo. Good luck..The Old Captain
