This company called my home and said that they were updating my magazine service. They said that they had been getting lots of complaints from their customers about the companies calling to try to renew their subscriptions and if I was also recieving these calls.I told them yes and they said my number would be put on a do not call list so these companies would know that I already had a subscription to them.

I thought ok this is good won't have to worry about all those anoying calls. They read me back all my information they knew my credit card number and address and everything. I really thought this was my magazine service.

They went over my contract and said I was being charged $49.98 every three months I told him that wasn't right. I told him I was paying $13.20 a month he said oh that's fine you were probably on a special promotion when I signed up but not to worry nothing would change.

He said he had all my info up to date. I wouldn't have to worry about other companies calling and trying to renew my subscriptions anymore. If I should recieve any calls from other companies I should call them back with that companys number so that they could be reported.

I told are you sure my payments are going to stay the same I'm not going to be charged $49.98 because I'm not going to pay that much. He told no, no don't worry about that you will still be billed by your orginal contract that you signed up for.

Then he told me that I would not recieve anymore calls from them. All of their contacts would be sent by mail from now on. So if anyone calls about magazines I could just hang up on them.

Five days later I was checking my credit card charges and there was a charge for $49.98. I thought I haven't bought anything what's this charge for. So I called to find out and it's from a company called Readers Source. I don't have an account with Readers Source I have an account with Premium Marketing.

How did this company get my information? How are they able to charge me for something I haven't even ordered? I have been trying to call the company but the numbers I call give me a recording with options. When you chose a option it tells you it's a invalid option or it will switch back to the same recording. You can't get anyone on the phone. I have left my name and number and message that really need to talk to someone. I still have not recieved a response.
