REALTYTRAC Realtytrac rip-off: outdated information on every house I looked into. Irvine California

Well, again I failed to check rip-off report on a company I was about to do business with. I was looking into foreclosed homes and found realtytrac on most searches. They have a 7 day free trial, but if you don't cancel after 7 days they will automatically charge 49.99. I entered into the free trial knowing that I would be done in less then seven days looking for foreclosed homes that are available. I made sure I knew how to cancel as well. I found five homes that met my criteria and I was ready to proceed with the formalities associated with house buying. So, armed with my copied information on all my selected houses, i canceled on the sixth day. Keep in mind that I tried to enlist realtytracs personnell to help with the purchase. All
i got was an confirmation that an agent would be contacting me soon. I waited two days, nothing. So, again I sent an email requesting help. Again,
confirmatory email. Finally an agent called me when i was not home. The number she left was long distance. I didnt call it. I felt a funny feeling that because I was on a free trial they didn't want to help until I was a paying customer. I all ready had my information and now it was the sixth day, so i just cancelled, deciding to go to a local realtor in my city. But, i got a call late in the afternoon, after work, when i was at home. Oh now they call at the right time...But of course, the rude lady on the phone was just interested in why I canceled before my free trial was done. She asked if I found a house and I said yes I have. She asked if I still wanted to be with realtytrac. I asked her why, i found a house..No answer, just a muttered thanks for your time and click. She was unprofessional and rude, didnt answer my questions and was just interested in pushing realtytrac's agenda. It gave me great pleasure to know my use of realtytrac's site was for free. Well, it was a waste of my time. Every house I asked my realtor, who answered his phone and helped me right away, was all ready sold. It seems that realtytracs information is outdated. Some for over a year. So all the time i spent researching on realtytrac was for nothing, thank god I didn't pay. I wrote them an email telling them how they suck and that I am reporting them here. So I come here and find all sorts of reports on this ripoff realtytrac. I am now worried my account will be violated, but i have a cancel confirmation number on it, so let them and I'll sue them so fast. Also, most lenders(banks) have REO lists that have all foreclosure information for free. Realtors can find out foreclosure information and even have an REO(Real Estate Owned) section that deals with and only with REOs and its free. So to all foreclosure websites that require money, STAY AWAY! but especially REALTYTRAC.com. Realtytrac got my hopes and dreams up, only to be crushed by the fact that realtytrac has outdated information.
