REC WAREHOUSE lies and cheats and deceives ripoff Charlotte North Carolina

I got my pool from rec warehouse on may 2 2007. A mothers day gift. And needless to say it wasnt put up till june.

8-8-07 i woke up and took my dogs out to discover that my water tank for my pump was cracked and water was coming out the top like a fountain. I immediatly called the store. They had told me i have a 30 year warranty.

So i get the mananger on the phone and he says "no problem, bring it the top thats cracked up here and ill replace it.

Well to start with im 42 and dissabled and recently was hurt again wasnt suppose to be driving that day because of dr. app and meds. So i had to hire one.

We get there at 10 min till 8pm and he is waiting on us. Puts on the smooth talk which i was medicated seemed like a really nice guy. A new manager
kept looking at the tank for few minutes trying to find the crack. i told him you cant see it just put water in it and turn it upside down and water will leak out but under pressure it will spew out like a fountain. or that he could hook it up to one of the display pools to see how it was cracked.

He said no I believe you and walks off to get a replacement.

He brings out one that looks like mine he just took back said it was dirty from being on display. I didnt think that sounded right because all there displays are inside. didnt say anything was just glad he was giving me a replacement even if it was used.

Then he tries to sell me this wonderfull table at cost. yea ok. i dont shop on medication so i told him call me in the morning

We left and got home. My husband put the pump back together and sure enough it was the same crack in the same place. all he had done was put a little ring that goes around the pressure gage and passed it off as another. I dont know what will come of this. but he lied said he would replace it and didnt. now i have to go back up there and he hasnt returned my calls im now hunting for another driver to go back up there and well wish me luck.

beware for yourselves. if i thought i had a lawsuit i would sue. i feel so used and violated being decieved like that.
