Rent-A-Center BIG TIME RIPOFFS changed contract and forged signatures, extended monthly payments Sacramento California

My Husband and I rented from rent a center back in the year of 2000 or 2001. Our payments were $138.35 for an entertainment center containing a RCA 25" TV, a RCA VCR. and a Techwood stereo with a 3 disc cd player. We started making our monthly payments starting on December of 99 and had a 24 month contract with them. With our last payment in November of 2002.

To our surprise come close to our last few months I asked the Supervisor Steve when our last payoff payment would be and he told me it would be June of 2003. Beyond the 24 month agreement. We stoped paying the monthly payment and rent a center came to our home looking in our windows and tried to pull open our door. (we live in a mobile home park in a 8' x 45' trailer) With them tring to pry open our door they broke our door handle which still remains broke. They also had other rent a centers call our home phone with no luck from us. dam ripoffs!!

They finally stopped harrassing us and we ended up going to small claims court over the entertainment center and settled with a payment of over $500.00 which we paid with my husbands tax return money from our savings account. So much for saving!!

Needless to say DON'T RENT FROM RENT-A-CENTER!!! Jhon Madden you can suck _ _ _ _!!! (Owner of Rent a Centers)
