Resort Equity Marketing ripped off by timeshare rental company REM Altamonte Springs Florida

Me and my wife were contacted by resort equity marketing or REM for short about renting or to sale our timeshare located at westgate in orlando florida which is one of the premiere timeshare sites. we were told on speaker phone by a sales rep whos name I kept but will only call mike here that REM would post our wanting to rent our property on the multiple REM websites and that they would also contact businesses directly to obtain a renter and that it usally takes less then 3 months and that the payment was for a lifetime contract for the property.

I signed the contract with them 07/09/08 but as of today 02/16/09 I never received an email or phone call from them or anyone since the 599.00 was paid. Being in the computer field I checked the website many times over and was never able to find my listing the last time was early today. I was told when I called them that my listing had expired in january and I had to contact them ever 90 days to get it renewed but how could they say they ever listed it to begin with.

I called them many times and was always told it takes some time and everything was fine. even if they had it on the website which I doubt no one will know it's there without letting others know somehow. I was contacted by other companies who do the same thing and they are known for only listing on the website which they didn't even do for me and not contacting others to rent or sale the timeshare.

when I called 02/16/09 the customerservice person said they rendered the service and no refund would be made and basically laughed and then said there was no one above him for me to talk to.

Do not do business with this company they are the worst kind of company that doesn't live up to what they promise.
