Revitalize and Renew, two companies whose name on their product is so small you truly need a magnifying glass to read it are two (maybe one) company that practice deceptive product advertising.  The initial offer is for an age defying skin serum for the trial price of $4.95, the second offering is for a "free" eye cream.  The initial charges are $4.95 & .99 showing up on my account as "Charm Beauty and a second third charge of $4.99 for Eye Spa (the initially advertised "free" eye creme.   Thirteen days later there are two charges on my account for $89.95 and $88.10 respectively.  When I called the number that was on my bank statement for these charges I was forwarded to a "customer service"  agent who repeatedly told me I had missed the 14 day deadline for return and they could not refund the $89.95 and the $88.10 but they could cancel any further product delivery.  In purchasing the trial product there was never a mention of future product delivery and cost.  Fianlly after being told the same thing 4 times Charm Beauty (the Revitalize Company) offered to refund a portion of the charge $31.48, however I would have to call the second number for Eye Spa - the telephone number was different and the name on the product (the free product that showed up on my bill as $88.10) is Renew.  I called the second number and was told they had already given me a discount and that the first person had done it incorrectly but she would give me a $30. refund on my "free" product.  How generous?

Now I am not intellectually challenged and I typically can smell a scam, but this is ridiculous.  By the way, the company name on each product does not really say it is the company, it merely says "manufactured exclusively for Revitalize, Santa Ana, CA and manufactured exclusively for Renew, Santa Ana, CA.  No address, only 2 different telephone numbers.  The print is so small on the product that I had to get a magnifying glass to even read the information.

One of the products has never been opened and is sealed, they will not take it back - the free product is not free!

I am still toasty and have called my bank to report "fraud".  These companies that provide false advertisement and then refuse to correct their dishonest activity should be fined at minimum and refund "dupped" customers, perhaps this "scamming" will then be stopped.
