This company's associates are rude, heartless and harassing. I do not dispute the debt that is owed, it belongs to me, I would love nothing more than to pay the original creditor. As a matter of fact I would love nothing more to get this company out of my life forever! In order to understand the harassment, you have to understand why we are in this position. My husband is self employed, he is a hard worker and what he does is the only thing he knows how to do, when the economy tanked, so did his business, he tried to look for jobs as an employee to bring money in, but at that time nobody was hiring in his line of work, at this same point in time, I was diagnosed with an aggressive form of Non Hodgkin's lymphoma, I had to undergo expensive scans, labs and appointments, which were followed by chemo and radiation. I had to continue to work thru my treatments, because we have 3 teenage boys, but my job was not enough to pay all of the bills, put food on the table, doctor cost and other necessities. So we had to decide between the things to keep us living and cutting out the bills that we could not afford to pay. We lost our home that we worked hard for to foreclosure and a sack of bills that were piling up.
I have explained our hardships to this company and they offered a settlement, one of which, we still cannot afford to pay, due to still trying to catch up on my ongoing necessary medical bills. Back in September I spoke to a girl at RGS and started nicely trying to explain our circumstances, was greeted with heartless grilling and asking what I billed to the credit card to cause such a high balance, I explained I put groceries on that card and anything else that we needed because we had no alternative, she continues to grill me and then I could not contain it anymore, I broke, I did get nasty, after everything we have been thru, struggling to hold all of the pieces together and I have this lady on the other end of the phone in so many words, telling she she doesn't care the circumstances they want they money and they don't care how. I was literally shaking after this call.
They called again today, they called for me at work and I was speaking with someone when the call came in, so the call went to voice mail, they left no message, they called back to talk to my boss, I picked up the phone and they tell me they need money today, they will only settle this today, I told her I can't get that kind
Of money right now and immediately following Mr. Williams gets on the phone and says they need money by tomorrow, he wasn't very nasty but was a bit rude, trying to get something out of me, I told him is company has been rude and he stated I cussed at one of the agents there, which I can't deny, but they pushed me to the edge, which I could feel this conversation was heading in the same direction, so I ended the call by
Saying I will call you back tomorrow. I am so nervous to talk to these people, I get such anxiety in dealing with them, I honestly cannot pay them now, I've got nothing to give. I am we'll aware they are trying o do their job, but seriously, if I had the money I would pay it!
