Rincon Management Scammers - DO NOT GIVE MONEY! Corona, California

First they called my brother who lives 1,000 miles away and tell him that if they do not hear from me within this many hours that a warrant for my arrest will be issued and brought to his house. Then days later, they called my father (who is in his 70s and has health issues) and told him the same thing. I happen to know that debt collection is usually handled in small claims court, making it a civil issue, not a criminal issue. But now my brother and father are upset.

So I call them back as asked. My reps name was Kelly Harowick. She's a real peach (sarcasm). She tells me this is over a debt and that I owe $3000. I tell her: This debt has already been settled in small claims court 6 months ago. That doesn't matter, she still wants her money. Tells me to go download credit report and call back by 8:00 p.m. and hangs up.

So I download credit report and call her back. Now she wants to go over the credit report. I tell her I really don't see the point in that when this debt has already been settled in small claims court. Now she starts screaming and telling me how valuable her time is. (Like I said, a real peach.) I reply, my time is valuable too, and she hangs up.

Suspicious to say the least, I google Rincon Management, and lo and behold, there they are on ripoffreport.com.

If you get one of these calls, or if your relatives get one of these calls, DO NOT give them any information or any money! This is a total scam and totally illegal! I have reported them to the FTC and State Attorney General's office, and suggest you do the same.
