RK Chevrolet is the absolute worst place to buy a car. They have caused nothing but trouble and headache for me. No one should ever buy a car from them again. They are dishonest crooks!

I bought my car there about 3 months ago. They told me they needed to clean the car and do some touch up things before I could take it home. I finally got my car two weeks later with major problems. Once I complained they assured me they were going to fix the problems and get the car back to me as soon as possible.

I get the car back two weeks later and only the minor problems were fixed. I asked them why they didn't fix the rest and they said because my warranty was up.

I cannot believe they kept my car a whole month without fixing the major problems such as a back axle falling out. They knew what was wrong with car before they sold it to me and cheated their way out of fixing it. They are lazy dishonest crooks and no one should trust them.

I have spoken with all the managers and no one seems to care once they have your money.

I have a quiet smile to myself everytime I read the following rebuttal

Tom obviously has this saved in a readily accessible file so he can copy and paste it because he has so many complaints to answer. It obviously hurts when complainants go public so out comes the slimy, smarmy, standard, milk and honey reply and Tom has to make out he's a good guy and actually provide a bit of genuine customer service, something that appears to be completely against his normal standard method of operating.

Thank goodness I live in Australia where car sales people are pretty slick but their word is good and they will always do what they say. They are hard but fair and realise the value of referred customers. You ought to try it Tom - fancy being able to cut your advertising bill by 90% because you do the right thing by every customer and they tell their family and friends to buy from you because you are ethical. I know this is an entirely foreign concept to you and your staff so I won't push it as the team at RK seem to have IQ's about the same as their shoe sizes and to grasp this concept would be difficult. We consumers are not idiots and most certainly don't appreciate being duped but hey, keep going the way you're going and you will be able to turn a profitable, large business into a tiny non entity in record time.

Commiserations to all of you who have been shafted - just make sure you vote with your wallets and we'll see how much smiling these salepeople partake of in the future.

It is a complicated formula Tom - customer pays you more than you paid for the car (nobody begrudges any business person making an ethical profit)you look after the customer the way you said you would (a-f-t-e-r S-a-l-e-s S-e-r-v-i-c-e)and then they get aunty Flo and uncle Reg to buy a car from you and then they ..........etc etc
You're right Tom I'm just a dumb Aussie who has been spoilt by dealing with sales people who treat their word as their bond and I shouldn't comment about a wonderful ??????? business such as yours. Keep on ripping off and making all the friends you must be making and I'll pull my head in - but keep that file handy for your next copy and paste!!!!!

Problems Resolved

There were several problems when I bought this car. Now that I have made it known to the right people that there were problems, RK chevrolet were more than glad to fix them. I wish I had made it known to the right person so my problems have been resolved. I do not think RK is a bad place to buy a car. I had a problem with one person and I should have taken this matter to an upper authority earlier. I am now glad that I did take this matter to the correct person as I am now satisfied. I would definatly recommend anyone to buy a car from RK.
