Yesterday I was approached by someone in Walmart selling magazine subscriptions as a fundraiser, and I purchased a $39 subscription. Today, curious to know more about the fundraiser, I Google-d the company: United Quality Publication. Nothing came up. So I Google-d the address: P.O. Box 36206, Pensacola, FL 32516. That led me to your post. After I read what you and others had written here on ripoffreport.com, I called my banking institution to place a stop on the check (which cost me $30). The check is stopped, but based on your experience do you think I need to check my account information?
