Went to cellforcash.com in September to sell old iPhone. Printed label and sent off in mid September. On October 8 website was updated to reflect that phone had been "verified". 45 day term to get paid which would have made payment due on 11/22/2010.
Sent several emails to "cellforcash.support@gmail.com" and finally received email on December 13 that the transaction had been "forwarded to accounting team".
President is Mike Mosieur (mmosieur@yahoo.com) or president@cellforcash.com. Also blogs thebusinessbrokerblog.wordpress.com
Google "cellforcash.com" or "Mike Mosiuer" for additional information.
Best advice I've seen is to be persistent. If pressed, file charges with your local police department who can serve RMS Communications in Ocala FL. Also, contact FTC, BBB, your States Attorney Office, the Florida States Attorney office (they appear to know of this scam).

After filing this report, I heard from Mike Mosieur, an executive with RMS communications (see http://www.jigsaw.com/scid17480616/michael_mosieur.xhtml). He claimed not to be affiliated with the company and sent several threatening emails including:
By the way, because of jerks like you, I can no longer use this email, which is why you got the auto response. I'll repay the favor.
I will respond legally.Please do not contact me. Please direct all communication to my attorney. You have his email.
Last contact from me. You have my attorney's email. Publish any or all of this, I really don'tcare. Thishas never been about me. You made it about me. Keep digging the hole.
In the last bit of correspondence he told me I just talked to my contact at Cell for Cash at home and guess what? She checked the system from her house and yourcheck has been cut and mailed, as I requested. . So if not affiliated, he appears to have some influence. I also received a response to my BBB complaint that the check had been issued and an email from Customer-service@cellforcash.com saying the check had been issued.
Regrettably since sending in the phone in September (!) I have moved so the check may be on the way or not. Its been 11 days and still nothing. Ive filed a follow-up with the BBB and sent new email to customer service. I have low hopes.
But I will persevere if only to help save other consumers from this troubling experience. #1 UPDATE EX-employee responds
