tthis is a bad auto dealership!

My fiancee purchased a van from Rock Solid Auto in Sept 09. Within days the check engine light came on, everytime he'd call he would be put on hold or transfered or hung up on. Not once did someone work with him. He also went out there and on 3 occasions they were closed for weeks at a time, with only a few vehicles left on the lot it looked like the business was closed down! Maybe closed due to low inventory?  No joke he tried for months to get ahold of someone so he could get this van serviced! At this point there was so much wrong with his vehicle we had to park it, with no money to fix it we had to resort to stopping the payment on it also and saved to buy another small car cash....guess who started calling us back? Yep CSA. Now they want to talk? Now we cant pay for the van because they dont honor their warranties so this vehicle is no longer running. All we got was threats from them and now since they repo-ed it we are summonned to appear in court. So they are suing for the remainder of the contract....anyone else out there get drug to court too because of these crooks? With all these complaints the judge has to wonder about this company!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There's NOTHING to "Wonder" About!

There are two separate and maybe three matters here.

You signed a contract to make payments on or before the due date...PERIOD.  You failed to do that which means YOU turned on the collections, repo and court activities.  None of the other matters has any bearing in this.  The payments are due when they are due.  Suing for the remainder of the contract is commonplace.

The fact that they sold you what appears to be junk has zero bearing on the above.

The fact that they have poor customer service and/or do not appear to be doing much business has zero bearing on the above.

Apparently your fiancee has bad credit otherwise he wouldn't be using a subprime dealer.  Subprime dealers usually sell old, worn out, poor quality cars.  Perhaps you should be encouraging him to improve his credit reputation.

Since he had bad credit before this and is now involved in still another bad credit situation...a repo...perhaps you should be doing some serious thinking as to whether this guy has the maturity and financial responsibility to be a real husband!
