I am the husband who nearly got suckered in all the way by Safety Enterprises, aka Spy Technogolies. I was trained by a very nice and attractive young blonde woman (her name escapes me right now) who was in office training herself and about ready to open her own office in a few weeks' time.
She proceeded to tell me about how the business is run as far as what you can accomplish, the quick and easy money there was to be made, and the easy hours you'd have while running your own office. I was very intrigued by all of this, so I let her continue.
I had come in one day (July 3rd) to receive my initial training, but no one was really there except for the manager's secretary (his mom), and she wanted to get all my paperwork and my $165.00 deposit, which should've been my cue to leave. I figured I would pay this money as a goodwill gesture to see if this was legit. My wife wasn't happy, but she went along with it.
I didn't realize that I'd be selling stuff to people, but I wanted to make a difference. When I wasn't having any luck getting my friends to allow me to demonstrate what these products can do, my wife wanted me to quit. I tried to do that but got talked into staying on and my wife relented and even bought the "big package" so I could move on to the next step of training.
By mid-August, still no change how things were progressing and my wife (then-fiancee) was threatening to leave me and call off our wedding. After contacting Mr. Miralia, I was able to secure a refund on my deposit. I had deposited that check and my commission check together and they both BOUNCED! I contacted Mr. Miralia about it at first and got no answer.
After a couple of days, I finally got a hold of him and told him what happened, he agreed to cut me another check for the full amount, plus the bank's fee for both bounced checks.
These people are scammers. Don't fall for their phony ads of "Busy Parma office needs help". They advertise every Sunday and Wednesday in the Plain Dealer.
