We started the Schumacher process in March of 2014. Alan was great. He took his time, he answered our questions timely. In July we were ready to start making commitments. At that point we should have ran, but I tried making excuses for the sales people. we got calls almost daily about getting the house under contract. We live in Marietta,so it isn't exactly easy to get to akron on a whim. The sales people rushed and rushed us through everything, making us really uncomfortable but we trusted them to lead us right. WRONG! Every price quote was off by hundreds, if not thousands of dollars. Our contractor left our pre construction meeting early which had bit US several times because he pleads ignorance to things I requested and thought I was getting. Our contractor is in over his head, and gets way too irritable with me, the cus to meet for asking things like... so do you have an estimated end date. Shame on me to expect him to answer that. 

If you do decide to go worth schumacher, watch them like hawks. Read your contract at least 100 times before signing. Make sure you have the RIGHT blue prints before they start construction (yeah, they sent me the "FINAL" version almost 6 weeks after breaking ground. To late to RE correct mistakes)
