Order a mattrees & foundation set from Sears.com on Oct 3 2007, to be delivered on Oct 25, 2007. Called the day before delivery...was told "order was stuck in system" Call back next day.
Was told on Oct 26 2007, order was "no good" system was backed up and to call back on Oct 27 2007.
Done so, was then told by 3 different customer reps...completely different stories! From order was bad, item was in stock, item was out of stock! And to call back on oct 29 2007.
Did that, talked to Ruth a custmer rep supervisor, she told me she would cancel the order and try to re-order the products for me, but she couldn't, the computer system wouldn't let her do so and she suggested I order these products through my local Sears instead. Well I done just that!
Only to find out, Sears.com charged my checking account the same day I re-ordered these items through my local sears store.
Up top of all of this I received an email from Sears.com stating the order had been cancelled, yet on November 1 2007, they charged my checking account again!
On November 2 2007 the charge was removed from my checking account, but wait there's more!
As of today November 5 2007, I received an automated message from Sears.com for the delivery of the origianal purchase, so I checked my checking account only to see Sears.com charged my account again!
These multiple charges are causing severe overdrafts on my checking account and I have filed a complaint with the BBB on this matter and am demanding Sears.com pay for any and all overdraft fees that have incurred from their mess-up.
I called my local Sears and found out the second order has arrived in their store today for a delivery date of Wendesday Nov 7 2007. The sales associated there was kind enough to call Sears.com about this situation and they told her that the order had 3 bold face types in the notes on different dates to cancelled this order, even though they have charged my checking account over three times now!
In addition I'm contacting a laywer to file a civil lawsuit against Sears.com and their practices!
