Dear Bruce Johnson,

     I purchased a range for $452.00 from Sears on 06/20/2010, order number 147937948 and I received a call from Sears delivery department stating that my item would be delivered on 06/26/2010 and I also received a window time of 1 to 3 pm. So I took off from work and I waited for my delivery but no one came by. I called customer service at 3:15pm and I was told that my item was not in stock and that it was on backorder. I was very upset because I took the day off plus I needed the stove before 07/04/2010 due to the holiday.  Around 3:30 I received a call from one of the delivery guys, Paxton and he stated that my item had been delivered to the wrong house. I re-contacted customer service and was given a new date 07/14/2010 which is unacceptable. Ive been hung up on by John in customer service and put on eternal hold by Sue after requesting to speak to a manager. Im very angry with the way I was treated by Sears and after I requested to cancel, I was told I wont get my money back for 7-10 business days. Why all the lies and deception? Why would Sears advertise a product for sale and say it would be delivered when the item wasnt even available. Then, give me the run around when it came to getting answers about my order after they got my money. This is no way to run a business and Sears ruined my holiday. I'm amazed by the total incompetence of Sears and it's customer service team.

sears bait and switch con game

 Sears got me too with their bait and switch con. They sent me the wrong item twice and have danced around about refunding my money for over six weeks now. Both wrong shipments have been returned to Sears by UPS and signed for. Same song and dance from their customer service. They say my account will be accredited within 10 business days. It aint happened yet. Sears.com customer service is piss poor.
